About Us

We are a company that has its foundation based on four simple, yet powerful words: “I am an American.” The innate strength of the United States is that of a single country whose citizens and ancestors all came here from many other countries to become one people. To us, the phrase “I am an American” is part of all of us who live here. It is also a tribute to our ancestors who traveled many miles and sacrificed so much to come to this country. Not only did they want a better future for themselves and their families, they wanted to be Americans. Being an American should inspire pride and patriotism in all who believe in what America stands for.

First, our goal as a company is simple. We want to visually inspire the American spirit that lives in all of us. This American spirit is evident from the first glance at the front of our shirt. The crown of the Statue of Liberty is plainly visible. The word Liberty is prominently displayed. Below that, in big bold letters are those four words, “I am an American.” The back of our shirt is equally symbolic. A strong and meaningful quote from a famous American is printed in bold black type. The quote is highlighted by subtle stars as well as red and white stripes that are reminiscent of our great flag. These same stars and stripes can also be interpreted as the fireworks we use to celebrate the Fourth of July.

Second, as we Americans move toward the future, we need to do so by remembering our past. Words and wisdom from our country's history should not be forgotten or left buried in a book. Quotes that were relevant in their time are still relevant to us now. It is vitally important for every generation of Americans to carry forward the ideals set by our forefathers. Also, visually displaying historical quotes on a high quality shirt is a great way to show your own patriotism!

Third, we are an American company. All of our design work was created here in the United States, as was our website. Our shirts are silk screened with pride by Americans! And the shirts that we use are high quality and American made! Not only do we believe that American made products are the best the world has to offer, we also strongly believe in keeping our fellow Americans working!

Finally, because we Americans have always been compassionate people, a portion of each sale will go to a reputable charitable organization to help those in need. Even in difficult economic times, we believe giving back is part of what being an American is all about.
